Dorm rooms are reserved for participants who are arriving before dinner on Friday, staying for the full weekend, and leaving at the end of the day on Sunday.
Dorm availability is limited and dorms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. There are a few ADA compliant dorm rooms in the mix. The best way to ensure dorm housing is to register early and send your payment and key deposit promptly.
We want to make it easy for everyone to be called by the pronouns they prefer. Including pronouns on nametags is now the norm at most folk camps and other events. It reduces potential confusion and awkwardness, while creating a more welcoming space for folks who use pronouns that might not be obvious to others based on elements of their appearance.
We support a community where individuals choose their own individual gender identity. We will refer to you by the pronouns on your button all weekend long, and we will expect everyone at the Romp to do this. If someone misgenders you or uses pronouns other than those on your button, please gently correct them. If you make a mistake with someone else's pronouns, simply correct yourself (or let yourself be corrected) and move on in the conversation.
The pronouns you choose will likely be imprinted in the minds of the new friends you make there, so we recommend choosing the pronouns that you are most comfortable using publicly throughout the year.
Potash Hill allows sleeping only in designated dormitory bedrooms and the tenting area. Primitive tenting only is permitted on the soccer field. Tenting in other areas is prohibited. No vehicles are permitted on the soccer field.
If you would like to bring your camper/pop-up/RV, there are three beautiful State Parks within easy driving distance of Potash Hill that allow vehicle camping:
