YES! We want you here, and we do all we can to help make everyone's participation possible! If the cost of participation is out of reach, we want to know.
Here is how it works: Send in the regular registration form now. If you need a helping hand to make participation possible, check the financial aid box on the form and tell us how much you can afford to commit to paying. All financial aid recipients are expected to pay a portion of their registration fee.
Priority for financial aid is first-come, first-served, so don't wait to register. Please send your proposed payment now to secure your spot at the Romp (and your dorm priority, if requested). Either way, you will be placed on our financial aid request list for later confirmation. If for any reason we cannot fulfill your request, we will return your payment promptly.
Once we have received enough full-pay registrations and/or donations to cover our base costs for the weekend, we will begin offering financial aid in the order it was requested and to as many participants as our funds allow. You will receive a confirmation email at that time. We will need the balance of your payment then as well, if you haven't already sent it.
There is no added work requirement for financial aid recipients, and there is no additional discount for volunteering or helping out. Everyone helps with the work of the Romp, no matter what they pay. Working as a community is good for everyone, so we do not tie it to anyone's financial situation.
The cost of participation is the same whether you sleep onsite or offsite, and there is no discount for missed meals. It doesn't matter whether you sleep in a tent, in a dorm, at home, or anywhere else. Meals are a big part the Romp community experience, and everyone is included. Plan to join us for meals even if you choose to stay offsite!
Our pricing policy is the same for all ages. We do not offer a separate family discount or age-specific pricing for weekend or day participants. But the financial aid process does apply to all ages, including families with multiple members.
Spread the word and encourage friends to register and/or donate! This helps to increase our resources and speed up the process of extending financial aid to those who request it.
All requests will be kept confidential. Last year we were able to cover all of the requested need. We want you to attend, so please don't be shy about asking! REGISTER HERE
