SOUTHERN VERMONT TRADITIONAL MUSIC, INC

Southern Vermont Traditional Music, Inc. is a small 501c3 nonprofit created in 2021 to help foster the growth and sustainability of traditional community-based music and dance forms in the greater Southern Vermont region.

SVTM sponsors annual, semi-monthly and one-time events including the annual RiverJam Romp (our biggest event), the semi-monthly Village Dance, and various performances and educational opportunities throughout the year.

SVTM is the steward of the much-loved Dawn Dance, which remains in hibernation since the pandemic.

Our events bring together community members of all ages and experience levels to connect through traditional dance and music forms rooted in our local region, as well as providing opportunities for locally based traveling musicians to work and network close to home.

To find out how you can support our work, read more here or contact us directly.
