FRIDAY & SATURDAY EVENING DANCES

The Romp Evening Dances on Friday and Saturday from 7:30-9:30 pm are open to the general public. 


FRIDAY: Family & Community Dances

SATURDAY: New England Contras & Squares


Join us in the Dining Hall at the former Marboro College campus on the Friday and/or Saturday night of RiverJam Romp for community dancing and fun with expert callers and an all-star band. 


No experience necessary. All ages and abilities are welcome. All dances will be taught. 


By donation at the door, as you are able. No registration is needed!

SUNDAY WORKSHOPS & CONCERT

WHEN: Sunday, September 13th from 1-4 pm


WHAT: Enjoy the afternoon at RiverJam Romp with us! FREE or BY DONATION, as you are able.


WHO: Anyone who wants to experience a workshop or some jamming, enjoy a concert, and see what the Romp is all about!


WHERE: Meet at the Dining Hall at the former Marlboro College, 2582 South Road, Marlboro, Vermont 


HOW: Just show up! No registration required. (Minors must have a designated adult with them.)


Arrive at 1:00 for a workshop at 1:15, then enjoy a staff concert at 2:30. Or join in anytime between 1-4 pm

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU COME

RiverJam Romp is an annual weekend gathering at Potash Hill where we celebrate the music and dance traditions of our local region. 


Jamming, singing, dancing, playing, connecting, and learning together helps nurture these traditions and strengthen our community connections.


Come join us and find out what it's all about! All experience levels are welcome and encouraged. 


Participants under 18 must have an adult with them. 


FRIDAY SCHEDULE:

7:15 - ARRIVE and SAY HELLO!

7:30 - DANCING

9:30 - POTLUCK SNACK

10:00 onward - JAMMING & SINGING

1:15 - WORKSHOPS:

         ~ Irish Session (Dining Hall)

         ~ Songs for Right Now w/Peter Siegel & Becky Graber (Apple Tree)

         ~ Tunes for Right Here w/Louisa Engle (Happy Valley)

         ~ Juggle Juggle Juggle! w/Tom Yahner (outdoors; Staples Room if rain)

2:30-4:00 - STAFF CONCERT & FAREWELL!
